On Friday, January 3, 2020, at 10:36 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash northbound on US93 at mile marker 44, near Twin Falls.

Kelly G. Galvan, 34, of Twin Falls, was driving eastbound on the Pole Line Road on-ramp to northbound US93 in a 1994 GMC Sierra. Patrick M. Romans, 61, of Filer, was driving northbound on US93 in a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville.

Galvan failed to yield while merging onto US93 and struck the GMC Sierra. Romans' was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

One lane in each direction on US93 was blocked for one hour.
