Two-vehicle injury crash on US20 at Kcid Road in Canyon County

On Friday, August 9, 2019 at approximately 7:17 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash at the intersection of US20 and Kcid Road in Canyon County.

Alexis Wilson, 20, of Caldwell, was westbound on US20 in a 2013 Ford Escape, preparing to turn left onto Kcid Road. Michael Yeomans, 28, of Boise, was eastbound on US20 on a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle. Wilson didn?t yield to oncoming traffic. Yeomans attempted to avoid a collision. He was ejected from the Yamaha and struck the Ford.

The Yamaha came to rest in the eastbound lane on US20. The Ford came to rest in the southbound lane on Kcid Road. The southbound lane on Kcid Road and the eastbound lanes of US20 were blocked for approximately one hour and forty five minutes.

Wilson was wearing a seatbelt and Yeomans was wearing a helmet. Yeomans was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise by ground ambulance.

The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
