The Idaho State Police, Idaho County Sheriff's Office, and Idaho Transportation Department are on scene of a large mudslide that is blocking US95 in multiple places between mileposts 197 to 205. Residents are being evacuated as necessary. Please avoid attemting to travel through this area. Road blocks have been set up at mileposts 161 and 234 where traffic is being turned around. Cleanup has begun but is slow due to the extent of the mudslide and water over the roadway.
