On Monday, June 24, 2019, at 6:56 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a property damage crash westbound on I184 at the junction of westbound I84 in Boise.

Richard E. Dyer, 55, of American Falls, was driving westbound in a 2014 Kenworth semi-tanker truck pulling a tanker trailer. The driveline broke on the Kenworth and ruptured the tank, spilling approximately 1500 gallons of diesel fuel. The Kenworth came to rest on the westbound shoulder of I84 near mile marker 49.

Dyer was wearing a seatbelt.

The lanes were blocked for approximately four hours while clean-up crews cleared the scene.

Idaho State Police is working on an incident westbound on I-184 at 0, at the Wye, in Boise. Traffic will be blocked from the westbound I-184 to westbound I-84. On ramps at Milwaukee will be blocked.

Traffic will be able to go eastbound toward Mountain Home.
