***Final Update***

On Friday, May 24th, 2019, at approximately 6:08 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a crash involving seven vehicles on Interstate 84 at milepost 36, near the Franklin Blvd. exit in Nampa.
The following drivers and vehicles were involved:

Gary Taber, 73, of Pendleton, Oregon - 2015 Freightliner tractor hauling a trailer loaded with flour
Guadalupe Luna Vargas, 22, of Caldwell - 2007 Toyota Yaris
Lucas Wynn, 44, of Meridian - 2013 Dodge Challenger

Reyes Lopez-Hernandez, 32, of Caldwell - 2001 Dodge Dakota

Eric Flores, 36, of Twin Falls - 2015 Ford Fusion

Taber was driving west on I-84 near milepost 36 when he collided with the rear of Flores' Ford Fusion. This caused a chain-reaction crash between all other vehicles involved.

Luna Vargas, McCulley, and McCulley's passenger were all transported to St. Luke's in Nampa. Flores was transported to Saint Alphonsus in Nampa. It is unknown whether seat belts were worn.

Westbound lanes of I-84 were blocked for about ninety minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.
