Update - Two Vehicle Crash on US93 Near Perrine Bridge North of Twin Falls

**Update**

On December 28, 2018, at approximately 3:24 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, crash on northbound US93 at milepost 50, at the north end of the Perrine Bridge, north of Twin Falls.

Violet Rowe, 80, of Twin Falls, was in the Perrine Bridge scenic lookout parking lot on the north east side of the bridge. Rowe was driving in a 2006 Mazda 6. Patricia Scheer, 76, of Jerome was driving northbound on US93 in a 2013 Dodge Avenger. Rowe made a left turn onto US93, driving southbound in the northbound lanes. Rowe struck the Dodge Avenger head on. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

Rowe and Scheer were transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, in Twin Falls. Scheer was later taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Northbound US93 was blocked for approximately two hours.

Idaho State Police was assisted by the Idaho Transportation Department, Twin Falls Police Department, Magic Valley Paramedics, and Jerome Rural Fire Department.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
