On Sunday, December 16, 2018 at approximately 4:15 A.M., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatality crash northbound US93 at milepost 14, three miles south of Rogerson.

Prabhdeep Maan, 27, of Fresno, California, was driving southbound on US93 in a 2017 Volvo semi-truck pulling a single trailer. Samuel Gutierrez Marin, 43, of Jerome, was driving northbound on US93 in a 2006 Volvo S40. German Nava-Zamora, 46, of Twin Falls, was a passenger in Gutierrez Marin's vehicle. The Volvo semi-truck was passing another vehicle and collided with the Volvo S40. Both vehicles came to rest off of the east shoulder.

Both occupants of the Volvo S40 succumbed to their injuries at the scene. All occupants were wearing seatbelts. Next of kin has been notified.

The northbound lane were blocked for approximately four hours and forty-five minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.

The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
