**Final Update**

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, at approximate 6:31 p.m. Idaho State Police investigated a motorcycle crash on Interstate 184 just east of milepost 4, near downtown Boise.

Seth Wilson, 39, of Boise, was driving a 2013 BMW S1000RR sport bike eastbound on I-184 near milepost 4 when he lost control and struck the barrier on the median side. Wilson was thrown from the motorcycle and over the median barrier wall, where there is a gap between the eastbound and westbound interstate. Wilson came to rest on South 16th Street near Rhodes Park in Boise where he was pronounced deceased. Wilson was wearing a helmet. Notification to his family has been made.

The left lane of the interstate was blocked by emergency vehicles for just over three hours while crews investigated the scene.
