**Final Update**

On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Natasha Chapman, 34, of Boise, was driving a 1991 Honda Accord westbound on I84 near mile marker 38, in Nampa, when her car struck a second vehicle. The second vehicle, a 2005 Nissan Altima, driven by Kelsey Yearsley, 34, also of Boise, was then pushed into a third vehicle. The third vehicle, a 2017 Jeep Renegade, was driven by Mark Laursen, 62, of Boise.

Chapman and Yearsley were both transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, while Laursen and his passenger, Barbara Laursen, 84, of Scottsdale, Arizona, were transported to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, all via ground ambulance.

Yearsley and the Laursens were wearing safety restraints, while Chapman was not.

All lanes were blocked for approximately 45 minutes and partially blocked for an additional 25 minutes. There is no longer any blockage.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is responding to a crash westbound on I84 just west of milepost 38, Garrity Blvd., in Nampa. Westbound traffic is completely blocked. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.
