**Update** On July 13, 2018, around 1:50 PM, a black 2013 Kawasaki motorcyle driven by Wayne G Nimmo, 67 year old of Cottonwood ID, was traveling southbound on US95 near mile post 279, when witnesses observed Nimmo lose control of the motorcycle, cross both southbound lanes of traffic, and strike a guardrail on the southbound shoulder. Due to injuries sustained as a result of the crash, Nimmo was transport to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center by air ambulance. US95 was shut down for approximately one hour for the helicopter landing zone. Nimmo was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Idaho State Police is currently on scene of an injury motorcycle crash near Winchester, ID, at mile post 279.5 of US95. Northbound and southbound lanes are currently blocked. Additional information will be released when available.
