***Update 2***

On Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 8:57 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 47, near the Cloverdale Overpass, in Meridian.

Christopher Holmes, 39, of Boise, was driving a 2016 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Interstate 84 when traffic began to slow for a property damage crash westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 46, the Eagle Road exit. Holmes merged to the second lane from the right to go around traffic congestion. James Moser, 73, of Meridian, was driving a 2004 Saturn Ion westbound on Interstate 84 when he began to slow for traffic. Moser lost control, drove across two lanes of travel, and struck Holmes' motorcycle. Holmes was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
