**Update** Fatality Crash on U.S. Highway 20 With Blockage Near Parma

On Friday, June 15, 2018 at approximately 8:04 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, fatality crash on US 20 at milepost 11, just east of Parma.

Quincy Belanger, 44, of Nampa, was westbound on US20 in a 2005 Ford F350 pulling a flatbed trailer. Anthony Carson, 52, of Caldwell, was eastbound on US20 in a 2015 Kenworth Tractor pulling an empty cattle hauler. The Ford crossed the center line striking the Kenworth head on. Belanger was ejected from his vehicle.

Belanger was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise where he succumbed to his injuries. Carson was wearing his seatbelt.

Both lanes of travel are still blocked at this time. Next of kin have been notified.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
