Taber Herrera succumbed to his injuries at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at approximately 7:45 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash on SH-21 near the Warm Springs Bridge, in Ada County.

Taber J. Herrera, 21, of Nampa was driving a 2006 Subaru Legacy northbound on SH-21. Zachary N. Renslow, 26, of Boise was driving a 2012 Ford F150 pickup southbound on SH-21. Herrera's vehicle crossed the center line striking the Ford F150.

Herrera was transported via ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Renslow was transported via personally owned vehicle to St Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise.

The lanes were blocked for approximately three hours.
