On June 8th, 2018 at approximately 2:21 p.m. an injury crash occurred on US 12 at milepost 32.5, near Peck, Idaho. A black 2012 Chevy Malibu driven by Oshae L Perez, 22, of Lapwai, Idaho was traveling eastbound when Perez crossed over the center line into the westbound lane of travel hitting a 2000 Freightliner medium conventional truck driven by Cari M. Wiese, 36, of Newport, Washington head on. The westbound lane was blocked for approximately two hours. Perez was transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino, Idaho. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
