** Final Update **

On Monday, April 2, 2018, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated at two-vehicle, fatality crash I-84 at milepost 211, near Burley.

A commercial vehicle was westbound on I-84 when it went off the roadway, through the guardrail of the overpass, and landed on the lanes of SH-24, striking a 1997 GMC pickup driven by Gregory Grove, 63, of Albion.

The driver of the semi succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash, Grove was not transported. It is unknown at this time if seatbelts were worn and the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

I-84 is reduced to one lane and SH-24 was blocked for approximately two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
