On Sunday, March 4, 2018, at approximately 4:35 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash on E 4100 N between 2250 E and 2100 E, north of Filer.

A juvenile was driving a 1987 Chevy Blazer. Michael Murphy, 55, of Filer, was driving a 2006 Ford F350 pulling an enclosed utility trailer. Both drivers were traveling eastbound on E 4100 N when the juvenile collided with Murphy as Murphy was turning right onto his property.

Murphy was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Center in Twin Falls. The juvenile was transported by personal vehicle to St. Luke's Valley Regional Center in Twin Falls. Murphy was wearing his seatbelt, the juvenile was not.

Both east and west bound lanes of E 4100 N in Filer were blocked for approximately two hours.
