On Sunday, March 4, 2018, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 46.5, near the Eagle exit.

Miguel Hernandez Jr, age 33, of Meridian, was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla westbound on Interstate 84 when he rear-ended a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. The Alero went off the right shoulder and rolled multiple times, before coming to rest on its top in a canal. Hernandez was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Medical Center in Meridian.

The driver of the Alero, Jennifer Frisbie, age 35, of Meridian, and her two passengers Tyler Searcy, age 19, of Boise; and Angelica Kling, age 19, of Boise, were all transported by ground ambulance to St Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. All occupants were wearing a seatbelt.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
