On October 24, 2017, at 11:30 am, an injury crash occurred on State Highway 64 at milepost 16, near Nezperce, Idaho. A blue 1973 international water truck, driven by Andrew J. Bladus, 35, of Nezperce, Idaho, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle. Bladus drove off the roadway into an embankment before reentering the roadway where it rolled twice. Bladus was airlifted to St. Joseph?s Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. The eastbound lane was blocked for five hours. Bladus was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation.
