On September 25, 2017, at approximately 10:09 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a semi rollover crash eastbound on I84 near milepost 201, in Jerome County.

Charles O. Williams, 68, of Charleston, Missouri, was driving a 2015 Volvo semi pulling a single trailer eastbound on I84. Williams drove onto the shoulder, hit the rumble strip, struck a road sign, overcorrected, came back onto the roadway then struck the exit sign at 201. The vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its top and hit the guardrail.

Williams was transported via ground ambulance to Minidoka Memorial Hospital. Williams was wearing his seatbelt.

The Kasota road exit ramp was blocked for approximately an hour and ten minutes.
