The Idaho State Police investigated a fatality crash that occurred on September 14th, 2017 at approximately 01:37am. Keith Pugh (41yoa, Spokane) was traveling eastbound on the Mussel Shell Road approximately 8.6 miles east of Weippe, Idaho in a 1990 Ford Explorer. Pugh drove off the roadway on the right shoulder and into the ditch below the eastbound lane. Pugh was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side, on top of Pugh. Pugh succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The investigation continues.
