At approximately 1:04 p.m. today, June 29, 2017, the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle injury crash eastbound on I84, at the 50A off-ramp to Cole Rd. Robert Brumpton, age 66, of Star, was eastbound on I84, exiting at 50A on a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Traffic was slowing, and Brumpton came to an abrupt stop. He lost control of the motorcycle, went over the curb, and was ejected. Brumpton was not wearing a helmet and was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus in Boise. Traffic on the off-ramp was blocked for approximately an hour and a half. The investigation is ongoing.
