Driver of the motorhome was Ronald W. McCoy, 64, of Meridian, ID.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of travel were blocked on Interstate 84 between mileposts 194 and 201 for approximately 3 1/2 hours. All lanes have been re-opened.

There were no injuries associated with this incident.

On July 12, 2016, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Idaho State Police responded to a vehicle fire, eastbound Interstate 84 at milepost 201, west of Burley. A 2006 Monaco Monarch motor home was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84 at 200 when the driver pulled over due to mechanical issues. The driver discovered his motor home was on fire and before the fire department could arrive, the motor home was fully engulfed. Eastbound and westbound traffic on Interstate 84 is currently blocked while crews fight the fire. More information will be released as it becomes available.
