*****Update*****

On July 13, 2016, at approximately 10:25 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two commercial vehicle property damage crash southbound Interstate 15 at milepost 26, near Malad Summit. Robert Stone, age 25 of Live Oak, CA, was traveling southbound in a 2013 Peterbilt commercial vehicle with a single trailer. Robert Hunsaker, age 56, of Tremonton, UT, was traveling southbound in a 2003 Peterbilt commercial vehicle pulling two hopper trailers full of grain. Stone failed to yield for slower moving traffic and struck Hunsaker's rear hopper trailer. Stone's commercial vehicle jack knifed and came to rest with the trailer blocking the right lane.

The drivers of both commercial vehicles were wearing their seatbelts. The right lane of southbound Interstate 15 is currently blocked. The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
