On Friday, June 3, 2016, at 11:22 am, the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash at the intersection of S. Powerline Road and E. Lewis Lane, in Nampa. Christopher Cope, 33 of Nampa, was travelling westbound on Lewis Lane in a 2010 Honda Ridgeline. Teri Draper, 65 of Nampa, was headed southbound on S. Powerline in a 1995 Kenworth semi. Cope failed to stop at the stop sign and impacted Draper's semi. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and were transported to Saint Alphonsus in Nampa.
