Injury Crash on US93 Near Salmon

On Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 7:54 P.M., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle injury crash northbound on US93 at milepost 284, south of Salmon.

Robert Douglas Armstrong, 47, of Salmon, was driving northbound in a 2005 Mack Dump truck loaded with sand. As Armstrong approached a curve in the road one of the trucks tires blew out. The truck left the east side road edge and tipped over coming to rest on its right side.

Armstrong was transported by ground ambulance to Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon. Armstrong was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Lemhi County Sheriff's Office.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
