On April 4, 2015, at approximately 5:30 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury crash on Interstate 84, milepost 46, in the construction area near Eagle Road.

Leilani Richards, 36, of Boise, was travelling eastbound in a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep hit the safety barrels then the cement barrier. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on its wheels in the lane of travel.

Richards was transported via ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise; she was wearing her seatbelt.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
