On Monday, August 4, 2014 just before 1:00 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle rollover crash on northbound Interstate 15 at milepost 80 near Fort Hall. Bertrand DeSilva, 52 of Yorba Linda, California, was driving north on Interstate 15 in a 2007 Winnebago when he lost control of the vehicle and overturned on the roadway.

Bertrand and his three passengers, Mary DeSilva, age 33, Tessila DeSilva, age 6, and Naomi DeSilva, age 4, were transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

Both lanes of northbound Interstate 15 were blocked for 90 minutes while crews worked to clear the crash scene. Bertrand was cited for failing to maintain his lane of travel.

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a vehicle rollover crash on the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 at milepost 80, near the Fort Hall exit. Both northbound traffic lanes are blocked and traffic is being rerouted off of exit 80. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
