Update: Idaho State Police Investigating Crash Involving Passenger Car and Train

On March 27, 2014 at 7pm, Idaho State Police investigated a crash at Blackrock Rd and Old Highway 91. Ryan Lish age 21, of Downey, was traveling north in a 1989 Honda Accord when he collided with a Union Pacific Train. The train was moving at the time. Lish was transported to Portneuf Medical Center by ground ambulance. The investigation is ongoing.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating a crash on the railroad tracks and Blackrock Canyon Road near Old Highway 91, south of Pocatello. One lane is blocked at this time, but traffic is able to pass by in the remaining lane. One person has been taken to the hospital. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.
