Crash at Robinson Road and Willow Avenue Near Nampa Claims One

On March 27, 2014, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Robinson Road and Willow Avenue, east of Nampa. Chad Draggett, age 31 of Nampa, was traveling north on Robinson Road on a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle. Dustin Boren, age 30 of Boise, was traveling south on Robinson Road in a 1998 Ford Escort. Boren's vehicle was turning left onto Willow Avenue when Draggett's motorcycle struck Boren's vehicle in the intersection.

Draggett was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus in Nampa, where he succumbed to his injuries. Notification to family has been made. Draggett was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash. The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
