Idaho State Police troopers arrested three suspects this evening after an assault and kidnapping in Meridian.

Shortly before 4:00 PM, the Meridian Poice Department responded to a business near Central Drive and Progress Avenue, where a man had been attacked with a Taser, assaulted, and had his five-year-old son taken from him. Troopers from the Idaho State Police were notified, and shortly after 7 PM, one of the troopers located the suspects, pulling them over in Sublett, ID with the assistance of Cassia County Deputies. The suspects are the child's non-custodial mother, Korey MacDonald of Mobley, MO, along with her husband, Jonathan MacDonald, and brother, Justin Reeves. They are currently incarcerated at the Cassia County jail on charges ranging from kidnapping to battery and aggravated battery.
