On Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at 6:19 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 35, the Northside exit in Nampa, Idaho. Leann Miller, 54, of Caldwell, was westbound in the right lane of I84 in a 2002 Ford Taurus. A semi attempted to change lanes into the same lane and struck the back of Miller's vehicle. The Taurus spun around, and the rear of the vehicle struck the jersey barrier, coming to rest in the median.

The Idaho State Police was unable to locate the semi involved. Miller was wearing her seatbelt. She was treated at the scene by medical personnel.
