On 04/21/2013 at 7:26 am, Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash southbound on I15 at mile marker 42, north of Airmo.

A 16 year old male driver was traveling southbound on I15 in a 2002 Hyundai Accent when for unknown reasons he left his lane of travel. The driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll coming to rest on the edge of the roadway near the median. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by Lifeflight to Portneuf Medical Center. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Both lanes of travel are open southbound on I15 at mile marker 42. More information will be provided once it is available.

The right lane of travel is open southbound on I15 at mile marker 42. The left lane is still being blocked as crews work to remove the wreckage.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating a one-vehcle injury crash southbound on Interstate 15 near milepost 42, about 2 miles north of Arimo. Southbound travel lanes are blocked but traffic is getting by on the right shoulder. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.
