On Thursday, November 15th, 2012, at 4:00pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle semi crash on Interstate 15 at the southbound Broadway on ramp.

Brandon Lindsey, 31, from Millry, Alabama, was driving a 2010 commercial semi truck, pulling a 144 foot windmill turbine trailer. Lindsey attempted to enter Interstate 15 at the exit 118 on ramp, and took the wrong ramp. He was unable to negotiate the curve, causing the trailer to get caught on the guardrail, blocking the southbound 118 on ramp. In order to move the semi, the truck was backed down the ramp into the gore. The southbound 118 off ramp was then also blocked. The south bound 119 on ramp was blocked in order to escort the truck north in the southbound lanes of travel to a point where it could safely cross through the median, and back into the southbound lanes of travel.
