**Update**

On September 15,2012, Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on US91 at mp 113, north of Firth in Bingham County. Chester Lewis, 68 of Caldwell was traveling northbound on US91 in a 1992 Geo Metro. Lewis encountered a large group of people crossing the road. Lewis swerved to avoid hitting anyone and struck Frances Montgomery, 62 of Idaho Falls. Montgomery was transported to East Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls by air ambulance.
The road was blocked for approximately 1 1/2 hours for the investigation for the crash.

Idaho State Police is currently investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on US91 at mp 113, north of Firth. There is some lane blockage for the crash investigation. Use alternate routes in that area.
