********UPDATE********

Traffic stopped between milepost 66 and 72 is currently being escorted further westbound in the far left westbound lane by law enforcement in the area. Traffic east of milepost 74 is currently being diverted off at 74 and is being turned back around to head eastbound. BLM fire crews are trying to get more enforcements in the area to extinguish the fire, but must have as little traffic in the area as possible to do so.

All westbound lanes of I-84 from milepost 66 to 72 are shut down at this time due the fire on the northside of the interstate. The fire is moving eastbound from the East Boise Port of Entry to the Ada/Elmore County line at milepost 72.

All westbound lanes of I-84 near milepost 66 are shut down at this time due to the proximity of the fire to the interstate. The Stage Stop onramp is also shutting down at this time until further notice. Motorists are asked to plan accordingly.

The Idaho State Police and several other agencies are currently investigating a one vehicle rollover that has caused a fire on the westbound side of Interstate 84 near milepost 66, which is near the East Boise Port of Entry. At least one westbound lane is blocked at this time in the area to fight the fire. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area at this time.
