On June 14, 2012 at approximately 1:41pm, Idaho State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on I-15 near Fort Hall. Jacqueline Boswell, age 20, of Idaho Falls, was driving north on I-15 in the left lane when she drove off the left shoulder into the median. Boswell steered back on to the road and sideswiped another vehicle that was also traveling north in the right lane. Boswell lost control of her vehicle causing the vehicle to overturn and slide on its top off the road and down an embankment. Boswell and front passenger, Shean Boswell, age 28, were wearing seatbelts. Boswell's one year old child, Lyra, was in a child safety seat. The Boswell's were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, Barry Redford, age 69, was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

Jacqueline Boswell told State Police that she was emptying the contents of a baby bottle out the window when she realized she had driven off the road.

Idaho State police were assisted at the scene by Fort Hall Police, Fort Hall EMS and ITD.
