Shortly before 7:00 am this morning, Idaho State Police investigated a head-on collision at US20 near Franklin Road north of Nampa.

Caleb J. Lee, 19 of Nampa, driving a silver 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, was traveling west on Highway 20-26 near milepost 30 in Canyon County. Kenneth J. Martin, 59 of Caldwell, driving a green 1994 Ford Explorer, was traveling east on Highway 20. Patrick A. Gilbert, 39, of Caldwell, driving a 2003 BMW 330, was traveling behind Martin. Lee drifted left of the double yellow lines and sideswiped Martin and Gilbert. Martin's Ford overturned on the south side of the highway. Gilbert's BMW drove off the south side of the highway and into an agricultural field.

Martin and Gilbert were both wearing their seat belts and were transported to West Valley Medical Center with minor injuries. Lee was cited for inattentive driving and was not wearing a seat belt.
