On September 9th, 2011 at approximately 5:08 pm, Region 5 Idaho State Police troopers were involved in a vehicle pursuit beginning on Interstate 86 at milepost 58 and concluding on Prospector Hollow Rd. in Bannock County. The reason for the initial traffic stop was failure of the offending vehicle to drive in its own lane of travel.

During the pursuit, the offending vehicle reached speeds of 98 miles per hour, and drove recklessly. The vehicle was spiked by Idaho State Police troopers southbound near milepost 71 on Interstate 15, which flattened the right front tire of the truck.

At the conclusion of the pursuit, the three adult male occupants of the truck, driver Trevor Beasley, front passenger Bryson Appenay, and rear passenger William Appenay, fled from the scene. All three occupants were apprehended by Idaho State Police troopers.

Trevor Beasley, 22 years, old from Pocatello, was arrested for felony eluding, DUI, resisting and obstructing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bryson Appenay, 20 years old from Pocatello, was arrested for resisting and obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

William Appenay, 31 years old, from Fort Hall, was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant, resisting and obstructing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There were no crashes or injuries as a result of the pursuit.
