On September 27th, 2011, at approximately 2:50 PM, Idaho State Police investigated a crash involving a truck and trailer which resulted in State Highway 25 being blocked for several hours. TJ Ramsey, age 27 of Burley was traveling east on State Highway 25 at approximately milepost 16.5, about 6 miles west of Eden. At that time, a vehicle traveling west was passing a vehicle and approaching Ramsey head-on in the eastbound lane. To avoid a head-on collision, Ramsey steered his vehicle to the right, driving it partially into the dirt. Ramsey attempted to get the vehicle back onto the pavement but was unable to do so, and the truck rolled over.

The eastbound lane of travel was blocked for several hours while the truck, trailer and the produce being hauled were removed. Ramsey was transported to St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. He was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor. The crash is being investigated by Trooper Chandler with assistance from Trooper N. Walker.
