***UPDATE***

On Saturday, August 20, 2011 at approximately 11:46 am, the Idaho State investigated a two-vehicle crash at I84 on the east bound off ramp of the 182 exit, near Eden. Heather Haycock, 37 of Meridian, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet pickup and was stopped at the top of the off ramp. Haycock proceeded through the stop sign to enter the onramp of east bound I84 and failed to yield to a 2008 Peterbuilt truck pulling two hay trailers. The truck was driven by Robert Debie, 54 of Twin Falls, ID. Haycock's vehicle struck the hay hauler in the fuel tank causing the truck to roll onto its side blocking the northbound lanes of SH50 on the overpass. None of the occupants were injured and all were wearing seatbelts. Alcohol is not a factor in this crash. Traffic is open one lane in each direction at this time.

The crash is under investigation by Corporal Dahl. Corporal Dahl was assisted on scene by Idaho Transportation Department, Jerome County Sheriff, and Jerome County Paramedics.
