INCIDENT INFORMATION: Florea was Southbound on Le Clerc rd when he left the right side of the road down an embankment. The vehicle rolled onto its top in the river. The vehicle was almost completely submerged except for a small portion of the trunk. Keefer was able to get out of the vehicle. Florea found an air pocket in the trunk and stayed there until emergency vehicles arrived on scene and extricated him. Florea was lifeflighted from Newport Hospital to Sacred Heart. Unknown seatbelts. Alcohol appears to be a factor. Investigation continues.
