Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at approximately 9:15 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a head-on collision on County Highway 17 near milepost 4, between Banks and Crouch.

Anthony Reilly, 25 years old, of Nampa, was westbound on the Lowman/Banks Highway in a 2007 Kia Spectra. For unknown reasons he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 59 year old Susan Decker, of Boise. Reilly and passenger Gabriel Mather, 12 years old, had to be extricated from the Kia. Reilly was transported via air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Mather, Decker and her passengers Lilly Silva, age 13, and Maria Nava, age 67, were all transported via ground ambulance, also to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash. It is unknown at this time if seatbelts were worn.

The crash is under investigation by Trooper Wright. Trooper Wright was assisted at the scene by Trooper Avery, Corporal Tulleners, Boise County Deputy N. Deuel, Garden Valley Fire Department, and Crouch Ambulance Service.
