On Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:20 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a serious injury crash on US Highway 95 at milepost 79.7, near Day Road in Weiser, ID.

Ronald D. Worthington, age 64 of Burley, was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup pulling a boat and trailer southbound on US Highway 95 when he lost control. Worthington left the roadway on the east side, causing the pickup to roll. Worthington's passenger, John A. Morrison, age 42 of Loretto, PA, was ejected from the pickup and injured by the boat trailer.

Morrison was air lifted to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with serious injuries. Worthington, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Weiser Memorial where he was treated and released with minor injuries. Morrison was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
