On June 19,2011 at approximately 12:38 am, Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle crash EB I84@86, near Mountain Home. Gurjant Singh, 43 of Washington, was traveling eastbound in a 2003 Peterbuilt semi truck pulling a 2000 Wabash trailer. For unknown reasons, Singh went off the roadway into the median. Singh overcorrected and his vehicle came back onto the roadway causing it to roll onto its driver side blocking both lanes of travel and the emergency lane. Singh was transported by ground ambulance to the Elmore Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home where he was treated and later released with minor injuries. Seatbelts were worn at the time of the crash.

The eastbound lanes of travel were blocked for approximately 5 hours for the investigation. B&W towing out of Boise assisted with the removal of the semi and, due to a mechanical issue on the tow truck, it rolled onto its side.
Senior Trooper Jussel was assisted by Sgt. Horn and the Elmore County Sheriff's Department,Mountain Home Fire and ITD. Crash is still under investigation at this time.
