Chains advised / limited visibility Bonners Ferry Area
The Idaho State Police would like motorists to be advised that in the Bonners Ferry area of Boundary County it is highly recommended for semi trucks to use chains. All other motorists need to be aware that these trucks will be parked along side the highways putting on chains and to use caution when going around them for subjects walking outside their vehicles. Visibility is currently only about 1/4 mile for this area. Please use caution when driving, allow safe driving distance between you and the cars in front of you, and wear your seat belts.
