At approximately 7:57 am, on August 29, 2010, Idaho State Police investigated a single motorcycle crash, westbound I84 at approximately milepost 189, between Twin Falls and Burley, ID. Kyle Arnold, 52 years of age, of Aloha, Oregon, was traveling westbound on I84 on his 2003 Harley Davidson, pulling a trailer. The back tire on the motorcycle blew, causing Arnold to lose control of the motorcycle and the motorcycle overturned. Arnold was transported via ground ambulance to St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Arnold was wearing a DOT approved helmet which is credited with saving his life. Alcohol is not a factor in this crash. The crash is still under investigation by Trooper DeBie who was assisted at the scene by Sergeant Oliver and Trooper Clausing.
