On Tuesday April 20, 2010, at approximately 2:02 a.m. (MDT), the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash on US95 approximately three miles north of Weiser, ID. A 1989 Ford Ranger, being driven by Chad Self, age 33 of Weiser, Idaho, was traveling northbound on US95, when he failed to negotiate a right curve and went off the left side of the roadway and rolled the vehicle end over end. Alcohol was a factor in this crash. Washington County Sheriffs Deputies, Weiser Ambulance, and Weiser Rural Fire Department assisted at the scene.
