Lyndsi Henretty, 15, of Eagle, was driving eastbound in a 2002 Ford Van with her mother Cindy, 50, and three sisters; Haili, 10, Cortni, 12, and Brittini, 17, all of Eagle. Lyndsi drove off the roadway, overcorrected back onto the road and lost control of the vehicle and into the median. The van went into a broad slide and rolled once ejecting Cortni, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in the left lane of eastbound traffic which caused the eastbound lanes to be blocked for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Cindy was transported to St. Alphonsus, Boise, by air ambulance with serious injuries.
