Idaho State Police Troopers and Payette County Sheriff Deputies responded to a one-vehicle collision late Wednesday night that resulted in injuries to two motorists.

At approximately 10:10 pm, Valley County, Idaho residents Kym Lamb, age 27, and Sadie Lonkey, age 23, were traveling westbound on State Highway 52 at milepost 10 near New Plymouth, in a 1973 GMC pickup truck.

The GMC ran off the right side of the roadway and collided with a power pole. The GMC then overturned.

Lamb and Lonkey were not wearing seat belts and received serious injuries. They were treated by Payette County Paramedics and transported to the Holy Rosary Medical Center for treatment.

The incident was alcohol related and the investigation continues by ISP Trooper Shawn Klitch and the ISP Collision Reconstruction Unit.

The New Plymouth Quick Response Unit and New Plymouth Rural Fire Department also assisted.
